29/07/2024 (JKNN) Umer Colony Residents Outraged Over Inadequate Road Repairs Near GD Goenka Public School, The residents of Umer Colony have expressed their anger and frustration over the poor quality of road repairs carried out by local authorities.
According to the residents, the authorities laid less than half an inch of macadam on the roads, and even this minimal amount was applied only in patches rather than as a complete resurfacing.
Speaking with JKNews Nation, residents voiced their discontent, stating that the patchy and insufficient macadamization has left the roads in an unsatisfactory condition.
They criticized the authorities for neglecting the proper maintenance of the roads, which they believe has resulted in a hazardous and inconvenient situation for the community.
The residents are demanding immediate action to address the issue and ensure that the roads are properly resurfaced to a safe and durable standard.
