Add’l Sessions Court Handwara Issues ‘Proclamation Notice’ 51 Accused, Asks Them To Appear By or Before Feb 2, 2024

Srinagar, Dec 30 (GNS): Additional Sessions Court Handwara Saturday issued a ‘proclamation notice’ against fifty-one accused persons wanted in a case from the year 2011.
As learnt by GNS, an application was made by SHO Police Station Kralgund seeking issuance of Proclamation against the accused persons in FIR 73/2011 allegedly involved in the offences 2/3 EMICO Act, 121-A RPC. Despite a non-bailable warrant issued by the court of CJM Handwara to compel the attendance of the accused persons, the warrant reportedly could not be executed ‘because the accused persons could not be found.’
The Court has as such issued a Proclamation against the fifty-one accused and directed them to cause their appearance (in the Court) by or before February 2, 2024.
