Absconder Arrested After Evading Police for Over Four Years in Baramulla
Srinagar 12/07/2024 (JKNN) : In its ongoing efforts to apprehend absconders, Baramulla Police have arrested an individual who had been evading arrest for more than four years.A team from Police Station Boniyar apprehended Feroz Ahmad Khan, son of Gh Mohammad, a resident of Zehanpora Boniyar. Khan was implicated in case FIR No. 12/2020 under sections 498-A, 147, 34, and 506 of the IPC.An arrest warrant had been issued by the Hon’ble Court of JMIC Boniyar against him, and he had been on the run since 2020. He has now been presented before the Hon’ble Court and lodged in District Jail Baramulla.The police are committed to implementing stringent measures to ensure that all absconders are brought to justice. Their resolve to combat crime remains unwavering.
