Army Porter Dies in Mine Blast Along LoC in Rajouri Sector

Rajouri (KS): An army porter died in a mine blast along Line of Control in Rajouri sector, an official said on Wednesday evening.

The official told news agency Kashmir Scroll that an army porter identified as Rakesh Kumar of Sarya Jhangad, died in Nowshera.

Confirming the incident, an official told Kashmir Scroll that the mortal remains of the deceased have been evacuated from the site for necessary medico-legal formalities and will be subsequently handed over to the family for last rites. (KS)
