Police cracks murder case in Bishnah Jammu, 4 arrested

Jammu, Sep 18 (KS) : The Jammu and Kashmir Police on Sunday claimed to have cracked a blind murder case of a man by arresting four persons in Bishnah here in Jammu City.

SSP Jammu Chandan Kohli told news agency Kashmir Scroll said that the gruesome murder case of Sunny Saansiya son of Baldev Raj resident of Kothey Bulanday, Chorli,Bishnah, who was attacked by some unknown persons on 14th of September this year at his residence and he succumbed to his injuries, while he was being rushed to the hospital has been solved by arresting four persons.

He said that police teams under the supervision of SP headquarters Jammu, Ramnish Gupta were constituted and the police teams after getting leads, by acquiring technical evidence and human intelligence, picked up various suspects.

He said that during sustained interrogation, one of the suspect namely, Sukhdev Singh @Makhan, resident of Palli Village, Bari Brahmana, Distt. Samba admitted to the commission of this heinous crime and he also disclosed the involvement of others who had provided the logistics support, and concealed the vehicles and weapons(Tokas, and Pistol) used in the commission of offence.

During the further course of investigation, the snatched vehicle, after the commission of crime was also recovered, further the prime accused also divulged the details of his accomplices, and after a day long raids at various places, police finally succeeded in arresting four accused persons.

They were identified as Sukhdev Singh @ Makhan S/O Shamsher Jhang R/O Pali, w.no. 9, BariBrahmana, Samba, Dushant Kumar S/o Jagjeevan Sharma R/o Palli, Sarpanch Yuvraj Singh S/o Chain Singh R/o Kallana, Arnia Jammu and Nasir Khan S/o Babble R/o Badhar Khan, Bishnah Jammu.

It is pertinent to mention that the vehicle (motorcycle) that was used after the commission of offence for fleeing from the scene of crime was also recovered.

Investigation of the case is going on and arrest of two more persons who are evading their arrest are likely to be arrested. he said. (KS)
