Walnut Plucking Turns Fatal In Uri; 35-Year-Old Man Dies After Tree Fall

Srinagar, Aug 8 (GNS): A man died on Saturday after he fell from a walnut tree while plucking walnuts in Uri area of Baramulla district.
Officials told GNS that the incident occurred in Pawadan village of Uri when the man lost his balance and fell from the tree.
He was rushed to Sub-District Hospital Uri for treatment, where doctors declared him brought dead.
The deceased has been identified as Ashiq Hussain(35), son of Ghulam Hassan Awan, a resident of Pawadan, Uri.
Police have taken cognizance of the incident.(GNS)
