Shepherd Killed After Lightning Strike In Keran Valley’s Dutibegh Area
Kupwara, Aug 06 (GNS): A shepherd was killed after being struck by lightning in Dutibegh area of Keran sector on Thursday morning.
An official told GNS that the deceased has been identified as Shahmeer Ahmad Khatana, son of Abdul Rasheed Khatana, a resident of Warsun area of Kralpora.
The incident occurred during heavy rainfall in the area.
Police have taken cognizance of the incident.
