Good News : Jhelum River Water Levels Remain Below Warning Mark Across Kashmir; Authorities Continue Monitoring

Srinagar, July 26 (JKNN): The latest water level readings recorded on sunday morning indicate that the Jhelum River and associated monitoring stations across Kashmir remain below the warning level, with no immediate flood threat reported.
According to the latest observations, the water level at Sangam was recorded at 17.15 feet at 8:00 AM, showing a downward trend. At Pampore, the water level was observed to be rising at 8:02 AM, while Ram Munshi Bagh recorded 17.26 feet at 8:04 AM, also showing an upward trend.
Meanwhile, the water level at Asham remained unchanged at 12.39 feet, and Wular also registered a slight rise.
Despite fluctuations at some locations, all monitoring stations continue to remain below the warning level, officials said.
Authorities are keeping a close watch on the river’s water levels and have advised the public to stay updated through official advisories, especially in view of changing weather conditions.
