Family Alleges Firing Near Samba Court, Sister Abducted; Police Launch Probe

Samba, July 07 (GNS): A family travelling in a car has alleged that unidentified persons opened fire on them near the Samba Court Complex on Tuesday, and abducted a female member during the incident.
According to the family, they were being followed by several vehicles before the attackers fired at their car near the court premises.
The family further alleged that during the incident the assailants abducted the man’s sister.
Police told GNS that they have taken cognizance of the allegations and an investigation has been launched. Efforts are underway to trace the accused and ascertain the facts.
