3 Injured, Including 2 Children, As Car Falls Into Gorge in Reasi

Reasi, June 28:(GNS)Three persons, including two minors, were seriously injured after an Alto car skidded off the road and rolled down a gorge near Tringa Basan in Reasi district today.
Officiala told GNS that the accident occurred at around 1540 hrs when the vehicle, bearing registration No. JK02U-8991, was on its way from Tringa to Basan. Police said the car fell approximately 100-120 feet down the hillside.
The Injured have been Identified as Zulafqar Ali, 32, s/o Shamas Din, r/o Chaklas — Driver,Seerat Banoo, 3, d/o Shabir Ahmad and Arhan, 2, s/o Javid Ahmed
All three sustained serious injuries and were first shifted to PHC Dharmari for first aid. After initial treatment, they were referred to District Hospital Reasi in view of their critical condition, officials said.
Police have taken cognizance of the matter. Further investigation is underway.(GNS)
