Senior workers rejoin National Conference in Anantnag;
NC Accuses PDP of Misleading People
Anantnag, June 28: (JKNN) Prominent youth worker Monis Shafi Bhat of Doonichek, Anzullah, and senoir worker of PDP Ab Rehman Thokar of Nunwani rejoined the National Conference (NC) at Khanabal on sunday.
Speaking on the occasion, Monis Shafi Bhat alleged that the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) had recently misled him into attending what he was told was a picnic in a nearby area.
He claimed that he was subsequently falsely portrayed as having joined the PDP without his consent.
Addressing the gathering, Senior NC leader and District Vice President Anantnag, Imran Amin Shah, said that people have become mature enough to see through what he described as the PDP’s “falsehood and anti-people policies” and have realized the party’s “true face of tactical deceit.”
He alleged that instead of introspecting over its “failures,” the PDP was resorting to what he termed “false and nefarious propaganda.”
Shah further accused the PDP of promoting nepotism and corruption during its tenure, alleging that the party “played with the future and talent of educated youth.” He also claimed that influential leaders had secured jobs for their relatives in departments such as J&K Bank, Tourism, Khadi & Village Industries, the Sports Council, and other government departments by managing certificates.
He further alleged that the PDP was now criticizing outsourcing-based recruitments despite having introduced the outsourcing system during its tenure.
