Traffic Update: Jammu-Srinagar NHW Open for Two-Way Traffic

Srinagar 06/01/2025 (JKNN) The Jammu-Srinagar National Highway (NHW) is now open for two-way traffic. Commuters are urged to follow lane discipline, as overtaking can lead to congestion. Travelers are advised to undertake their journeys during daylight hours and to avoid unnecessary halts between Ramban and Banihal due to the risk of landslides and shooting stones in the area.

Meanwhile, the SSG Road, Bhaderwah-Chamba Road, Mughal Road, and Sinthan Road remain closed. Passengers are requested to plan their travels accordingly and stay updated on the latest traffic advisories.
