Power Shutdown by KPDCL to Affect Several Areas in Srinagar and Pampore on Feb 12, 13

SRINAGAR, FEBRUARY 11: (JKNN) Chief Engineer, Distribution, Kashmir Power Distribution Corporation Limited (KPDCL) has informed that scheduled power shutdowns will be observed on February 12 and 13, 2026, due to maintenance works.
According to the notification, the shutdown of the 33 KV Pampore–B.K Pora line will be carried out on February 12. As a result, power supply to BK Pora, Khanda, Checkpora, Chatergam, Kenihama, Summerbugh, Wagoora, Aribagh, Checkpora and adjoining areas will remain affected from 10:00 AM to 02:00 PM.
Similarly, the shutdown of 132 kV ICT-Ckt-II at 200 MVA, 132/33 KV Grid Station Pampore will be observed on February 13. Consequently, power supply to Rawalpora, Sanatnagar, Chanapora, Hyderpora, Humhama, Baghat, Barzullah, Rambagh, Natipora, B&J Bagh-i-Mehtab, Rangreth, JAKLI, BEACON, Wanbal, Batagund, Aripal, Lurgam, Noorgam, Lalgam, Tral, Tral-i-Bala, Cheewa, Panzgam, LIS-I, II, III, K. Koot, Marhama, Khiram, Khellan, Konibal, Kadlabal, Shar Shali, IE Wuyan, IE Khrew, Cement Plants, Pahru, BK Pora, Nowgam Railway Station, Summerbugh, Khanda, Ladhoo and adjoining areas will remain affected from 03:00 PM to 05:00 PM.
KPDCL has advised residents in the affected areas to make necessary arrangements and has expressed regret for the inconvenience caused.
