Traffic Update: Slow Movement on Jammu-Srinagar NHW

Srinagar 08/11/2024 (JKNN) Traffic on the Jammu-Srinagar National Highway (NHW) between Ramban and Banihal is moving slowly due to vehicle breakdowns and the movement of nomadic flocks. Commuters are advised to remain patient, follow lane discipline, and avoid overtaking, as this can lead to further congestion.
Passengers are encouraged to plan their journeys on the Jammu-Srinagar NHW during daylight hours, as increased movement of nomads from the Kashmir Valley may cause inconvenience late at night.
Additionally, SSG Road, Mughal Road, and Bhaderwah-Chamba Road remain open for vehicular movement.
