Auto Load Carrier, Camper Collide at Sonamarg; One Critically Injured

Srinagar, Nov 30, KNT: A road accident was reported from Sonamarg in central Kashmir’s Ganderbal district on Sunday late evening after two load carriers collided, leaving one person injured and hospitalised.
Officials said an auto load carrier bearing registration number JK16B-6008 collided with a camper load carrier bearing registration number JK05D-7653 at Sonamarg. The impact of the collision resulted in injuries to the camper driver, identified as Asif Ahmad Khan, 24, son of Muhammad Altaf, a native of Watlar area in Lar, Ganderbal.
The injured driver was immediately shifted by locals and emergency services to the Primary Health Centre Sonamarg, where doctors provided initial treatment. Due to the nature of the injuries, he was later referred to Sher-i-Kashmir Institute of Medical Sciences (SKIMS) at Soura for specialised treatment.
Hospital authorities said the injured was admitted for further medical care and is currently undergoing treatment.
