CEO LBBDA Flags Off First-Ever ‘Pony Tiranga Rally’ from Kashmir’s Famous Bangus Valley

Awami Reporter Srinagar, 13 August 2024: Ghulam Jeelani Zargar, the CEO of the Lolab Bangus Drangyari Development Authority (LBDDA), led a unique and unprecedented “Maha Tiranga Rally” on ponies through the world-famous Bangus Valley. This event, held ahead of India’s Independence Day celebrations and under the aegis of the Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav, marked the first rally of its kind in the serene valley.As ponies galloped across the expansive green meadows of Bangus Valley, the rally resonated with the spirit of nationalism. The thunder of hooves and the spirited cries of riders echoed across the valley, symbolizing the collective pride and patriotism of the local people.Led by Mr. Jeelani, the Tiranga Rally inspired the people of Bangus and surrounding areas with a renewed sense of national pride. The event was a true test of horsemanship, endurance, and the resilient spirit of the participants, aiming to imbibe national ethos among people from all walks of life.This rally is part of the government’s broader ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ campaign, which encourages citizens to hoist the national flag at their homes in honor of India’s Independence Day.
