Traffic Update: Current Conditions on Jammu-Srinagar NHW and Other Key Roads

03/06/2024 (JKNN) Light Motor Vehicles (Passenger), fresh produce, and livestock are moving in both directions on the Jammu-Srinagar National Highway (NHW).

There is slow traffic between Ramban and Banihal due to poor road conditions, sharp 90-degree curves near T5, and the movement of nomadic flocks.

Commuters are advised to maintain lane discipline, as overtaking will cause congestion.

Additionally, the SSG road, Mughal Road, Bhaderwah-Chamba road, and NH-244 are open for vehicular movement.
