“6.0 Magnitude Earthquake Strikes Southeast of Honshu, Japan”

In a seismic event, Japan’s National Centre for Seismology (NCS) has reported a magnitude 6.0 earthquake that struck Southeast of Honshu on Friday. The quake occurred at 07:01:24 IST, with a depth of 62 km.

The NCS shared the earthquake details on social media, stating, “Earthquake of Magnitude: 6.0, Occurred on 06-10-2023, 07:01:24 IST, Lat: 30.16 & Long: 139.94, Depth: 62 Km, Location: Southeast of Honshu, Japan.”

As of now, there have been no reports of casualties, and further information is awaited. (JKNN)
