45-year-old falls into well in Baramulla village; Rescue operation underway

Srinagar, Dec 28 (KS): A 45-year-old fell into a well in Tangmarg area of Baramulla district on Thursday afternoon.

An official informed news agency Kashmir Scroll that one Bashir Ahmad Rather, son of Ghulam Mohammad, resident of Dhobiwan Barzulla in Kunzer Tangmarg fell into a well while cleaning it.

“Soon as the news spread, the family alongside locals launched a rescue operation to bring the man out of the well”, the official said. “The rescue operation was later on joined by Police and other departments.”

The rescue operation was going on, when this report is being filed. (KS)
