3 weeks after gone missing, man found dead from river in Rajouri

Rajouri, Mar 17 (KS): Body of a man, gone missing some three weeks before, was on Sunday found and retrieved from a river in Rajouri, an official said.
“The body was found by some locals in a river in Sangpura area in Rajouri, following which an operation was launched at the site to retrieve the body,” the official told news agency Kashmir Scroll.
“The body has been identified to be of one Mohammad Mushtaq, a resident of Kalkote Kurlian Rajouri,” said the official.
“The body is under possession of police for medico-legal formalities,” the official said, adding inquest proceedings have been taken up to gather further details into the incident. (KS)
