Youth injured while crossing LOC last month in Poonch succumbs

Poonch, Oct. 11 (KS): A 22-year-old youth who was critically injured while crossing the line of control (LOC) in Poonch district last month succumbed to his injuries today.
Reliable sources told Srinagar-based news agency Kashmir Scroll that a 22-year-old youth named Yasir Nazir, son of Nazir Ahmad Hussain, from the Karmada area had sustained injuries 15 days ago while attempting to cross the Line of Control (LOC) in the Poonch sector. He was immediately admitted to GMC Jammu for medical treatment for his injured condition.
An official told news agency Kashmir Scroll that Yasir’s case was registered under FIR no. 155/23 U/S 8(a)/21/22 NDPS Act, 2/3 EIMCO. Despite receiving medical care, he unfortunately succumbed to his injuries this morning. (KS)
