Reasi Car Accident: Minor Girl Resuscitated After Presumed Dead, Has Started Responding To Treatment: Medical Official

Srinagar, Aug 18 (GNS): A minor girl was resuscitated after presumed to have died, alongside two other persons, has started responding to treatment, said a medical official.

Talking to GNS, the doctor said that the minor girl Sumera Ghulam, was among the occupants in a car which had rolled down near Chamelu Morh, Chassana area of Reasi, resulting in instant death of two persons and injuries to two minors – a boy and a girl.

“The minor girl alongside the boy were received by the doctors,” the medical official said, adding, “Upon preliminary assessment it was presumed that the girl had succumbed to her injuries, however after a close assessment she was successfully resuscitated, the doctors could feel her pulse, indicating she still is alive.”

“The girl has critical injuries and would require preferential treatment,” the official said.

Pertinent to mention here that two teachers lost their lives after a car they were traveling in, rolled down a deep gorge near Chamelu Morh, Chassana area of Reasi. (GNS)

Srinagar, Aug 18 (GNS): Two teachers and a minor girl died in a fatal car accident in Reasi on Sunday afternoon, said an official.

The official told GNS that an Alto car bearing registration number JK20B 1024 rolled down into a deep gorge near Chamelu Morh, Chassana area of Reasi, resulting in instant death of two occupants and critical injuries to two others.

Upon evacuation of the injured duo to a nearby hospital, a minor girl eventually succumbed, taking the toll to three.

The official identified the deceased trio as Ghulam Din and Mohd Amin, both teachers by profession, and the minor girl as Sumera Ghulam – all residents of Hamusan area of Chassana tehsil in Reasi.

“The another injured, also a minor, identified as Sajad Ghulsm, has been taken to a nearby hospital for treatment,” added the official.

Confirming it, a police official told GNS that they have taken cognisance of the incident for further investigations. (GNS)
