17-year-Old Girl Hangs Self To Death in South Kashmir

Srinagar, June 10 (KS) : A teenage girl hanged herself to death in Sirhama area of South Kashmir’s Anantnag district on Saturday evening.

Official sources told the news agency— Kashmir Scroll that a 17-year-old girl (name withheld) hanged herself on Saturday evening at her home in Sirhama village following which she was immediately rushed to a nearby hospital where doctors declared her brought dead.

It seems the girl has committed suicide. We have started an investigation to ascertain the actual cause of her death,” an official said—(KS)
